Petach Tikva, May 19th, 2022. U.S. Ambassador Nides and the U.S. embassy's senior commercial and economic teams met today with AmCham's membership at AmCham Israel's Annual General Assembly, hosed by Intel Israel CEO Yaniv Garty Chairman of Amcham Israel. Ambassador Nides addressed the asembly and outlined his main objectives for his role: 1) protect and enhance the unbreakable bond between the U.S. and Israel 2) help maintain Israel as a Jewish Democratic State, through continuing to promote the two-state solution, and supporting the Palestinian economy and people, and 3) building on and expanding the Abraham Accords. Ambassador Nides also commented on the important work U.S. and Israeli businesses are doing to strengthen the U.S. - Israel trade and the role AmCham Israel and other AmChams in the region have in promoting stability and well being for all the regions citizens.
