Representatives of the Chamber met with the Governor of Oregon, Hon. Ted Kulongoski and a delegation of businesspeople, during dinner in Jerusalem. Participants included Dan Halpern, Vice Chairman of the Chamber; Sherwin Pomerantz, President of Atid E.D.I.; Ishai Wureit, CEO of Gilad Government Relations & Lobbying, and Tamar Guy, Executive Director of the Chamber.
A new organization, aimed at promoting Oregon-Israel business relation, is in the process of being established.
During his visit, Gov. Kulongoski signed a memorandum of understanding in the fields of R&D with the Chief Scientist office at the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor.
