Executive Director, the BIRD Foundation
Jaron Lotan has been the Executive Director of the BIRD Foundation since March 1, 2023. With 40 years of experience in Israeli tech companies, he previously served as CEO of AVT Ltd.
until 2020, leading its sale to Danaher. Earlier, Jaron co-founded Rosh Intelligent Systems and led its successful product commercialization.
He also held leadership roles at Orbotech, including President of EMEA and EVP of Business and Strategy. Jaron served as CEO of Tecnomatix, growing the company before its sale to UGS and Siemens PLM.
Afterward, he focused on board roles and consulting, and worked as COO & CBO at Gilat Satellite Networks. Since 2020, Jaron has been involved in social initiatives and business consulting, also serving as Vice Chairman of the Aaron Institute at Reichman University.
He holds a BA and MA in Economics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Jaron lives in Raanana with his wife, Tsippy, and their three children and two grandchildren.
