On Tuesday, Nov. 29, The Chamber Annual Conference will take place in New York. The conference will take place with the cooperation of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and the America-Israel Friendship League. Information will be provided shortly.

Sept. 12: Reception and Concert Honoring U.S. Ambassador to Israel


Past Israeli ambassadors to the U.S. - Hons. Zalman Shoval, David Ivry and Itamar Rabinovitz; Ambassador Gao Yanping of China and Ambassador Radovan Javorčík of Slovakia, were among hundreds of Chamber Members, public figures and businessmen participating in a reception and concert in honor of the U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Hon. Daniel Shapiro, on Sept. 12 at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art in Tel Aviv.
Amb. Shapiro, Honorary Chairman of the Chamber, emphasized the importance of the business relations between Israel and United States, and that the Israeli public understands how deep the Israeli-U.S. relationship really is.

Amb. Shoval stated that a strong U.S. is in Israel's vital interest – and vice versa.
Amb. Shoval and Tamar Guy, Executive Director of the Chamber, both thanked Amb. Shapiro and President Obama for their assistance to and support of a strong and secure Israel.
Guests at the event included Yossi Abu, CEO of Delek Energy; Irit Batat, Marketing & Business Development Director at American Express; Gideon Aloni, Chairman of A.L. Joint R&D Projects between Massachusetts and Israeli Companies - Initial Request for Proposals

The Israel Industry Center for R&D (MATIMOP)  – the government agency that generates and implements international cooperative industrial R&D programs between Israeli and foreign enterprises – invites Israeli companies to apply for cooperative R&D projects with Massachusetts companies in the fields of life sciences, clean energy, or information technology.

The deadline to submit applications is Feb. 6, 2012.

Every selected project will be financed by up to 50% of acknowledged R&D expenses, subject to R&D regulation and regulations of the Chief Scientist office at the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor.
