U.S. Tax Reporting Requirements

The Chamber is holding a seminar on U.S. Tax Reporting Requirements -
for U.S. citizens (and Green Card holders) who are residents of Israel - and How to Solve Compliance Problems.
The seminar will take place on Thursday, December 15, 2011, 16:30 - 18:30 at the Dan Hotel, 99 Hayarkon St., Tel-Aviv
Speakers: Ehud Kisch, CPA (U.S., Israel), Managing Partner at Kisch & Co. CPAs, and Attorney Dave Wolf (U.S., Israel), Partner at Hacohen Wolf Law Offices.

To be discussed:

  • What are the tax reporting requirements for U.S. citizens and green card holders living outside the U.S.?
  • How to avoid common and costly mistakes in tax planning and reporting?
  • What is the policy of the IRS regarding non-reporting of income or assets abroad?
  • How to solve compliance problems of non-filing or incomplete filings in the US? Alternative procedure to the "voluntary disclosure", implications of renouncing U.S. citizenship, the "voluntary disclosure" procedure.  

Lectures will be both in Hebrew and English.
