The Chamber, in cooperation with Signal Business Development and DLA Piper, Members of the Chamber, and Never Stop Marketing is holding a seminar titled "Be Remarkable, on Dandelion Marketing: How to Increase Your Odds of Going Viral."

Seminar: Business and Regulatory Issues Concerning Foreign Companies Trading on U.S. Stock Exchanges
The Chamber, in cooperation with the Directors Roundtable Institute, is inviting its members to a seminar on Business and Regulatory Issues Concerning Foreign Companies Trading on U.S. Stock Exchanges. The seminar will take place on Monday, Jan. 10, 2011, between 8:30 a.m. and noon, at Leonardo City Tower Hotel, 14 Shalom Zisman St., Ramat Gan.

Seminar: Commercial Real Estate in the United States: Yes, No and How
The Chamber held a seminar on Commercial Real Estate in the United States on December 19, 2010 at the Dan Hotel in Tel-Aviv. More than 200 guests listened to presentations on various aspects of real estate, including U.S. Real Estate Market: Overview, Trends and Opportunities; Structuring and Operating Real Estate Investments in the U.S.; The Israeli Institutional Investor's Perspective; U.S. Taxation of of Foreign Companies Investing in U.S. Real Estate and Legal Issues for Foreign Companies Investing in U.S. Real Estate.
Adv. Monte Silver of Wasserman Comden Casselman & Esenten said that new U.S. tax regulations will render foreign investments unworthy, unless foreign entities provide loans to U.S. companies, allowing the latter to purchase investments for the former.
Adv. Gil Raveh, Partner at Erdinast Ben Nathan Law Firm, said that U.S. taxation laws treat foreign investors like any U.S. business owner, including in all aspects of taxation.

Seminar: Last Minute Year End USA Income Tax and Estate Tax Planning
The Chamber, together with Gerber & Co., held a seminar on Last Minute Year End USA Income Tax and Estate Tax Planning. Selwyn Gerber, Founder & Managing Partner, Gerber & Co., CPAs, a Member of the Chamber, discussed the new laws and answered numerous questions.
Mr. Gerber provided information on the implications of the re-introduction of estate taxes on worldwide assets effective 1/1/11, and reviewed planning opportunities to reduce taxes significantly. The event took place on two occasions in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.
