Impact of COVID-19 on Employment Visas held by Israeli Nationals

The Coronavirus pandemic has created issues for US employers in maintaining labor and immigration regulations for foreign employees working in the U.S. in L-1, H-1B E-1 and E-2 status.  Issues include the need to reduce salaries and work hours, temporary office closures and layoffs and the effect on visa status.  There are questions relating to the benefits being made available by the CARES Act, including small business loans, and unemployment benefits and whether Israeli nationals can qualify.

Kan-Tor & Acco will provide initial consultation on these issues, free of charge, via email. For details: Please contact Attorney Cindy Azoulay, Partner, US Dept.: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
