Earlier this week, AmCham Israel leadership had the honor of meeting with U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Mr. Mike Huckabee, and U.S. Commercial Officer Mr. Mike Calvert at the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem.

Our Chair Oren Sagi, Vice Chair Ronit Benbasat, and Board member Galit Meyran engaged in a warm and meaningful conversation about deepening the strategic economic relationship between the United States and Israel.

We discussed shared opportunities in:
• Innovation and advanced technologies (AI, Cyber, Quantum)
• Regulatory alignment
• Healthcare
• Regional collaboration
• Reducing trade barriers and enhancing bilateral commerce

We were especially moved by the Ambassador’s clear and heartfelt commitment to strengthening U.S.–Israel ties, his strong support for the Israeli economy, and his vision for a shared future built on mutual values and trust.

As a symbol of this partnership, we were proud to invite the Ambassador to serve as Honorary Chair of AmCham Israel — continuing a longstanding tradition of collaboration between the U.S. Embassy and the Israeli business community.

We look forward to working closely with the Ambassador and his team to advance our shared mission of economic growth, innovation, and cross-border opportunity
